I've been using my "name" for a couple of years in more than a few reptile forums. I'm most active in the TeguTalk forum and I am a Moderator there.

We started with a Bearded Dragon over 2 years ago and our zoo has been growing ever since. We have (4) Tegu's including a proven pair of Blues. We have 21 eggs in the incubator due to hatch in about 31 days. This is our first attempt at breeding anything. I'm being coached by Bobby Hill (Varnyard) who is the owner of the TeguTalk forum. Our first snake is now a 2 year old 4ft long male Ball Python. The latest is a 5 ft long Coastal Carpet Python I bought from a guy on CraigsList. Ironically, the female Blue Tegu was bought on CraigsList for $200 with a 125G tank, sold as a male B&W Tegu. And she gave us fertile eggs this year!! Our biggest snake is a 5.5ft female Dumeril Boa. I traded a B&W Tegu for her. We've since bought the Tegu back (don't ask!). We actually have more reptiles but sigs are normally limited to 256 characters. Some of them are rescues.

I'll post some pics at a later date.

YAY for fertile eggs. We had a clutch of eggs not make it through the summer and a clutch of infertile turtle eggs. It's such a ballancing act.

I have a good mentor who advised me how to build an incubator and how to set it up properly for Tegu eggs.
