I am hoping to get a better understanding of CT's laws regarding pet ownership and wildlife. I have spent a llot of time researching laws online and really have not found anything that clearly spells out the law. Please if anyone has any information about the law post it here. I am especially interested in the law regarding the ownership of tarantulas and scorpions- I know years ago you could own a tarantula but could not buy or sell one within state lines (so a lot of people just bought them in NY and were able to legally own them) but I have heard recently that this law was changed and they are ilegal even to own now. I'd really appreciate any help in tracking down the truth regarding this issue.

That would be good to know. We just bought a tarantula last week.
